A long-standing veteran of the international dance scene, Myagi aka Andrew Mavor has finally unveiled his debut album, and the responses have been nothing short of amazing.
Dubbed “an uplifting electronic masterpiece – 4.5 / 5” by the scene defining DJ Mag, Myagi’s “3 Years Of Sunrise” is set to hit shelves and websites finally in December.
From the big room, electro and progressive tinged peak time rockers like “Payback”, “In Between” and the Pete Tong supported “777” to the mellower sounds of “Staring At The Sun” and the dancehall dub of “Heads N’ Tails”, there is a range of moods and sounds not often attempted in most modern electronic albums, even less often pulled off successfully. “3 Years Of Sunrise” on the other hand, manages to nail it, bringing elements of sound together into a fusion that has drawn comparisons to the classic works of acts like Leftfield, BT, or even The Chemical Brothers.
