Valique has been busy making music since the beginning of the 90’s ranging from live-performed heavy jungle to jazzed up ethnic soundtracks, it is only within the last few years that he has gained the title of #1 Russian funk/soul producer – and for good reason!

The first 12” “Taking Your Seat” received massive support from DJ´s worldwide, and his remix of “Thirty Three” by The New Mastersounds (from “The New Mastersounds re:mixed” on Record Kicks) joined the “Best of Year” list on Craig Charles´ acclaimed BBC 6 Music Funk and Soul Show.

Following several digital releases and the second 12” single “(Let Go) Trouble Girl”, Valique presents “R.A.W. (Russians At Work)” – 11 dancefloor tracks, including vocal collaborations with Fanny Franklin of Ubiquity Records and Sofi Ocran.

Anything from horns to Iskra disco synths can be found on “R.A.W.”, as Valique delivers a DJ-friendly view of modern disco-funk.
