Though still in his early twenties, Black Milk has been a rising talent both as a producer and as an emcee within the Detroit hip hop scene for several years. Black Milk is considered by many to be the next big producer from Detroit following the untimely deaths of J Dilla and Proof (D-12) in 2006. Hip hop fans all over the world are anxious for a new generation of hip hop artists from the Motor City to carry the torch for its fallen heroes. His sound and music have quickly been embraced by established artists in the hip hop
community.
Black Milk isn't asking to carry the torch; he's already running with it. Black Milk has been making noise through producing for artists like Pharoahe Monch, Lloyd Banks, Slum Village and Canibus as well as through the release of his own original music featuring him holding down duties of both emcee and producer.
His solo debut "Sound Of The City" was critically acclaimed by journalists, DJs and fans alike and the follow up EP "Broken Wax" has added more fuel to the fire. As the anticipation grows for his forthcoming Fat Beats debut "Popular Demand", the temperature of this charismatic emcee
