Mit einer Mischung aus New Wave, AvantGarage-Pop & Indie bauen sie eine wundervolle Stimmung auf, die an Bands wie Jesus & the Mary Chain oder Velvet Underground erinnert. Dazu Vocals, die den Geist von Ian Curtis (Joy Division) einatmen.

Das Schöne daran: Die Platte ist Independent und sympatisch zurückhaltend produziert. Das verleiht der Brooklyner Band eine fantastische Authentizität. Vermutlich ist diese Platte schon jetzt ein ganz heißer Anwärter für 2009. Übrigens erscheint das Album auf dem netten UK-Label Angular, die sich auch schon für Releases von Klaxons, The Long Blondes, These New Puritans oder The Lodger verantwortlich zeigten.
